Not only has CheapO denied responsibility in changing our flights, they refuse to give us a refund!?!? They expect us to travel to Lisbon AFTER the conference we were to attend was over!?!
As a couple, we planned a trip to Lisbon, Portugal where I am presenting at a conference happening May 10-12th, 2014.
I booked our flights months ago, February to be exact. We were to leave in a few days so I went to print the itinerary and noticed our flight dates were for exactly A WEEK AFTER when we were supposed to be travelling. CheapO is saying that we booked our flights- and get this- for after the conference was over! I've read many reports from unhappy customers online and a lot of them are saying CheapO Air is a fraudulent company whose customer service is bullshit and rips people off.
Now I also bought travel insurance, but what does that matter if I am not dead or dying. They refuse to switch our flights or give us a refund, it's absurd! If they tell you they aren't charging you for things to ""make up"" for the problem you're having with them- beware because the only solution they gave us was to pay an extra $800 a ticket while it was obvious on travel booking sites that the costs for tickets for the same flights -even if we bought them now- were a fraction of that!!
