I purchased a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer from Chauncey Solinger when I made the purchase there were certain things wrong with the vehicle such as the bearing on the front passenger side needed repaired also the gas gauge need to be fixed as well as the shocks in the front to hold the hOod up and also the sunroof did not work.
Mr. Solinger told my boyfriend and I said he would be more than happy to fix said items and when I came back everything would be ready and what also be washed none of which happenEd. nothing was done at all and I was told that they had to fire one of the mechanic and that they would order all the parts and when I came back I could bring the vehicle to be fixed and get a loaner vehicle while the Mountaineer wAs having work done on it.
After over a week of not hearing back from them about the vehicle I called and was told that the mechanic was out sick and that they would have to get back with me I also ask them when I was going to get my title and was told theres a lady that takes care of that but I would get it within 30 days. then out of the blue I receive a text message from someone apparently named Dave that works with Chauncey the text simply said the title lady said the title that you gave us for your car was not an electronic title and we need You to to fix this. I called and spoke with Dave and was again lied to and he seemed to have no idea what was going on just like on the day when I was there to pick up my vehicle I asked that ton!c give me a call and of course I never heard back from anyone during the conversation that I did have with Dave though I told him just to forget it because they did not fix the vehicle like they promised and now they don't have the title for my Mountaineer and had been well over a month I was told they sold my car to someone else and could not get it back and I asked how were they able to sell my car without the title to it and of course I received no response .
I don't feel it's my responsibility to fix a problem that someone who is a car dealer should have been able to figure out from the beginning I also don't think that it's fair to be told by someone that they are going to fix your vehicle for you after you spend 4500 dollars for it to then turn around and be told by chance see himself to my face you would not have even known that the bearing was bad in the vehicle if I did not tell you and I told you that I could not fix these things all which were platent lies told by Chauncey SOlinger. I want the money that it's going to cost to fix all the things on the vehicle that were promised and I also want the title to my vehicle or I will give the Mountaineer back and I want my 4500 dollars back
