I'm a single mother that allowed my 3 year old son in good faith to visit his father for 2 months with a promise return date. Father is not on the birth certificate. Per Nevada Law the home state of the child is 6 months or longer so I filed a custody and Child support case along with a fee waiver since I can't afford to pay the cost of the court fees. Not only was I denied claiming that I don't fall into the category of individual who are indignant even though I filed out all the paperwork showing my expenses, but they questioned why I was asking for paternity when I had already claimed that paternity had been established by a court in Nebraska back in 2012 along with the case number. They obviously didn't read my file! Meanwhile my son is still not being returned to me and is in the hands of a father who has a history of prescription drug abuse.
