Deceptive sales practice: I went to Chariots on a Friday afternoon to pick up my car. I signed a sales order, paid in full for the car and drove away. Within 1 hour Chariots was calling asking for the car to be returned or to bring more money. I refused to return the car since i had signed paperwork seeling the car to me. Monday they cashed the check.....It has now been 60 days and I still have not received the title to my car. I have filed a complaint with DMV, BBB and the State's Attorney's Office. DMV cited Chariots with a violation but told me I had to persue this civilally. Now I have to hire an attorney and fight for my vehicle title. Seems to me that laws need to be set up to prevent dealerships from taking advantage of consumers and extorting money with bullying tactics.
