I went on line intending to change my address for $1 through the us postal service and the first site I found appeared to fit the bill. I didn't know until today that they were not the US postal service and cost over $39. Today I looked at the site again and in smaller print they do disclose that they are not the postal service but it was not obvious enough for me and I see others have fallen for the same trap. Many folks trying to change their address would not think they were not in the us postal service and would not think to read any small print. It's bait for sure.
What makes the baiting more effective is that they use the same colors as the US Postal site. Sure they probably are legal with the small print disclaimer but if they were upright they would use different colors and be much more obvious.
