Contracted Moving by Legacy to move furniture from Atlanta, GA. to Tampa, FL - paid deposit on May 9th. Given a scheduled pick up May 16th. Did not receive promised deposit receipt, and emails/texts/phones calls were not being answered promptly - line of communication started breaking down considerably. Tried to contact 5/13, 5/14, 5/15 - then on the afternoon of 5/15 told that pick up pushed back to 5/20 due to truck repairs. Then tried again the 19th to coordinate times, no responses again. After many many attempts, contacts me to tell me that have to push back again due to repairs and have poor cell phone reception - pushed back to the June 9th.
Cycle repeats again, tried to contact to confirm june 9th pick up. No reponse, nothing - no return anything. Had my father contact him from an unfamiliar number and told him that he was sick, money all in truck, email not working - with have the refund by Monday June 16th. Monday comes and goes....trying contacting again, contacts by text saying waiting for a Paypal transaction and when he gets that I will get my money Friday June 20th.
Nothing!!! Contacted me not!!! Disconnected the cell phone!!! Liar, cheat, dishonest - found him on FB and he is listed as an ordain minister. UShip has permanently banned him and looking at the feedback its for the same behaviour - taking money fraudently and coming up with excuse after excuse and not doing the service !
