We thought we were purchasing a frenchbull dog named "Quickel" from this website Ceser French bulldogs. After several e-mails with the apparent owners, we were advised that we were "chosen" for one of their pups.
We were requested to send $650.00 US (we reside in Canada) by Moneygram. I had requested to send them an e-transfer, but they advised that they were use to moneygrams and would rather stick to what they know. This way here, this can't be traced.
We were also advised that there would be a fee to fly the dog to Canada and that they typically dealt with City Express as their courier. We were then contacted by a man named "Paul Logan", who had a very thick african accent. We were advised by e-mail that we had to purchase "Life Pet Travel Insurance" in the sum of $ 1320.00 by Western Union. i asked "Paul" why this could not be done by credit card over the phone and he advised that they had had complaints in the past from customers who claimed that they were targets of fraud on their credit card.
Once these funds were sent to City Express, we were again advised that we needed to send more funds in the sum of $ 1045.00.
I attempted to contact the breeder to no avail. Their website has been removed, City Express is not answering and e-mails to them are being are being retuned to sender.
Do not be fooled by such a scam, their website has a lovely family pictured on the front, father, mother, son and daughter. They have also made sure to to include a photo of their "apparent" daughter Carrie, helping with the pups.
looking back at all the e-mails, there are specific typos, which leads me to believe that english is not there first language.
i am out of almost $ 4000.00 canadian, please don't fall for this!!!!!!!
