Right rear shock went out on my SLT 2012 Tahoe. "Service Suspension Soon" message on my dash. Turns out the actuator circuit was open due to corrosion on the shock and connector. Mechanic said it's $800 to replace. Century denied the claim because corrosion was present. This is UNDER the damn truck, people. Complete Scam Artists.
I bought a 2009 dodge ram and got the century extended wartanty. Since I owned I've had to replaced the abs module which they covered no problems. Since then the flex plate and torque converter had to be replaced and they gave me and the dealer the run-around finally I paid for it up front to get it fix. Final bill was 2800 and after 2 months of giving them all the bills and statements they only covered 900 of it. Now the cam went out and did some damage to the engine they are giving me the run-around again. They keep saying they need service record and receipts for all service records. I'm a mechanic and do a lot of running it's not my first time around a engine. I do all my own service work. But they say they need dealer service records. Sound like an excuse not to pay again. Don't pay for any coverage that has to do with this company.
