The online set up for the road test was simple enough. That's the biggest reason i went here for the road test. The testing fee was the normal $50. I had everything i needed, the car in perfect working order. When i showed up and parked the instructor took down my information. As she did so, she didn't seem very happy to be there and was rather rude. Just by her attitude towards me i knew she had already failed me just by looking at me. When she called me up to do the parking portion of the test i executed everything perfectly. Didn't go over the boundary lines drawn with chalk on the pavement, didn't hit any cones, the bumper of my car wasn't sticking out, and didn't have to readjust my car when parallel parking. But the instructor wouldn't have known any of this because she wasn't even watching me. She was busy talking to new arrivals and playing on her phone. I never even got on the road. Not only did she fail me for no reason but she was also doubled parked!!! i think if someone is going to give people their road test and judge them on their parking the least the instructor can do is pay attention and be an example and park their own vehicle correctly. This company is a joke! don't go here!
I was set up to do a $50 driver's Road Test thru Century. I went to their website and followed their instructions set up for those 18 and older. I was fully in compliance with the first 8 steps, which are the vehicle requirements. Horn has to work/flashers have to work/brake lights. etc. When I got to their facility after waiting around I was told that I wasn't allowed to do the test because I wasn't in my Interlocked vehicle. There was no mention of this requirement on any of their instructions nor was I directed to do that by SOS. I had to get out of work to make the time for this test. I call Century today to reset a test date and was told that it would be another $35 dollars on top of my initial $50 for failure to comply with their 8 steps. Not only that, but I also would have to take more time off work, which is the bigger hit. I did comply with the 8 steps and should not have had to pay more money on top of taking off from work again to do this test. I did not know that using the Interlocked vehicle was a rule, and neither did Century, because they had to call SOS to figure it out while I was at their facility. They did not provide the information required to me. They are the Instructors/Professionals that do this every day, they should have known this information and should have provided it to me before I showed up. They should have at a minimum given me a free retest date since they as professionals who do this every day, should have made me aware of all the requirements.
