My son has been looking for a specific pair of shoes. He didn't have a lot of money to spend, so when he found what he wanted on CCS's website, he and his mom filled out the order form. As soon as tracking information was given, he tracked those shoes every day, waiting for them to finally arrive. Then, he saw that they were in our town, but we never got them. Soon, he saw that they were returned to the shipper. We called to find out why, and it turned out that they were sent via FedEX, but then, along the way, FedEx transferred them to US Postal Service. The US Post office doesn't deliver to our address because we don't have a mailbox. Instead, we have a PO Box. So, instead of CCS contacting us to say "There's a problem with the address and we were unable to get your order to you" CCS just restocked the shoes. When I called to correct this problem, the "customer service" representative said that they could not re-send another pair of shoes because they were out of stock. When I asked, "What about the shoes you sent to us that got returned?" she said that they would simply be restocked, and that I would have to keep checking their site if I wanted to get them and that I'd have to make a whole new order if we found them. Then, I asked if there would be a way to get ahold of someone at the warehouse and just resend those shoes, she said "no, we don't have any contact with anyone at that warehouse." Then, she proceeded to tell me that we had not filled out the billing address portion of the online order form correctly, that we only put "PO" and didn't give the actual PO Box number. I asked what difference that would have made, since it was the billing portion of the order form and she said "None". So what, was she attempting to blame me for this? I don't know, but where I come from, when you pay for a product, you expect to get what you paid for, and you also expect good service, neither of which I received from this place. We didn't get the item we paid for because CCS used a service that transfers its parcels from one shipper to another AND they made no effort to ensure proper delivery AND they made no attempt to remedy this situation except to say that they'd refund our money within the next 2 weeks. I am furious over this terrible experience with CCS and will never use them again.
