I sent my l to them laptop. I figured it was worth to get this amount quickly as compared to getting a bit more after fees through eBay. I would say that this laptop was in excellent condition. The first thing that put me on suspicion was that their procedure to send an email after receiving and inspecting your device. Also, someone would call to offer you their price rather than just confirming in an email the amount quoted. I actually received two of these emails without anyone calling me. I had to call cashforlaptops. When I spoke with a rep, I was told that my device had light scratches. They could offer me $120. I replied that I wanted my device back. He put me on hold and came back with $140. I again said no and asked for return of the device. I then got an email saying that there would be no further negotiation. I replied that I rejected this offer and I wanted my device return with no further delay and finally got confirmation that it was shipped. This course of conduct demonstrates that this company has no intention of paying the amount they quote you, regardless of condition. Moreover, their lowball offer and multiple increased offers show just how non-reliable they are.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A TOTAL FRAUD AND RIP YOU OFF!!

When i called them, i was asked to wait until they received all phones and now they tell me they can't send them back.I got a quote back for $126 dollars for all 3 phones.

The laptop worked well; however, there was an issue with the charging port so i decided to sell it. When i got my check -which took almost a month- it was for $34. I was so angry that i called the customer service, which took over an hour, after which they proceeded to hang up on me forcing me to start over. They did not send me an updated quote. They don't return emails, and it takes long time to get to them. Cashforlaptops is bad and misleads people. Be careful in dealing with them, don't trust them.

As with all the other reviewers... I, too, was quoted a wonderful price, but given a bad offer.. Tried for days to contact the customer service, have to wait longer enough to talk to someone. When i got hold of them, they gave me all the reasons why my phone deserves a lower price than the quoted one.

I have sold laptops through the internet before. Cashforlaptops quoted me over $150 for my 1 year old toshiba laptop. I told them it was not functioning and would not turn on. I never got an email stating what they were going to give me after inspection. I received $53!! i called and they said they sent out an email regarding the amount. No email in my junk, spam or regular inbox. This place is a scam. Don't sell your laptop to them for pennies. In addition, when i tried to contact them from the phone number listed on my account i had to wait for an hour to get to them. After waiting for that long, customer support was not helpful at all. I wish i have read the reviews here before sending them my laptop.

Initially, i estimated for my sony laptop and it was $300 but when i shipped my laptop to cashforlaptops, they called me back and told me that my laptop is worth $200. I got very pissed and i said i want my laptop back. Then they told me that you will be charged $100 for my special return back shipment. I was feeling terribly aggressive and i said that send me $200 urgent and i cannot afford now more $100 for the shipment. And thanks god, i got my $200. From now onwards, i will not sell anything to this company as they i am not happy with their complex and slow services.
Cashforlaptops company management and customer services are very rude and aggressive.I called for asking quote estimation of my ipad but customer agent behaved very weirdly and in an ill-mannerism. I got shocked that i just asked about small thing and she said you can check on the website and we are sitting here free for telling you just quotes, we the customer services for only confirming orders.Their company bad behavior changed my thought and i did not sell my ipad to them. Cashforlaptops should need better customer services and management as i think no one is there to scrutinize and check the below staff and their performance.
I sent cashforlaptops an immaculate samsung galaxy s4 with the promise of getting about $160.00. Finally, they sent me a check for $73.00, which i never cashed, for obvious reasons. I tried to get them to return my phone, but all i could get was an answering machine if i was lucky enough to survive their hour long hold time. So they played the game that i couldn't get my phone back until i talked to someone there.

After looking into it, I found that the terms and conditions state that you have the right to reject the offer and get your phone back within 3 days. I immediately called and emailed them.
Their call center is an absolute joke.. they place you on hold to talk to someone in the 'purchasing' department and after 10 minutes hang up on you!!!!! After 5 attempts of trying to talk to someone, I gave up. I did, however, get some automated email stating that someone would get back to me, but that didn't happen. A week later, I received an email saying their technicians decided they would pay $101 in total for the two phones and a check was in the mail. I called and asked them to cancel the check and return my phones because I had higher local offers. They would not.
I believe they are running a scam by offering high quotes and sending a much lower check before anyone can stop them. I highly recommend no one use this cash for laptops website.

This company quoted me $303 for each of my two brand new ipads...when I received payment for my two brand new ipads from them finally...the amount I was paid for both or my brand new ipads was a wopping $94.....I call the company to find out why $94 and I was told that it was only a quote and that I had 3 days to say no from the time they issued the payment....however the email they sent for payment did not say $94 nor did I say I had 3 days to say no. Then the customer service lady said they would up it from $94 to $150 because they where new....I told her that was unexceptable and I wanted the items back.So I issued them a refund from my paypal account for $94 because I refuse to take it....Don't ever use these people...I am reporting them to the BBB

I'm sending Nasty Letters too Natalie ( there contact at the complaint deparment ) that my check was mailed on the 29th of May and they won't issue a "NEW" one tol after #21 days ; SO I'm still complaining & sending them emails ; calling them Crooks & thieves ; So but this Time I've since gotten a PayPal account . I sedn then the information & . They make a transfer of $ 10 USD & that's it . They "RIPPED" me off for my ipad ; RESOLD IT ; & RIPPED ME OFF by $115 USD !
