They will rent to you; they will take a large deposit; they will make sure you have good credit and then they will wait two (2) to three (3) years AFTER you move out to sue you claiming that you did some type damaged the Apartment or or to the building somehow.IT DOES NOT MATTER. THEY WILL MAKE UP BOGUS CHARGES TO FILE THE LAW SUIT AND TO MESS UP YOUR LIFE AND YOUR GOOD CREDIT. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE WHAT THEY ARE CAPABLE OF DOING AND WHAT THEY DO!!!
SO...DO YOURSELF A GREAT BIG FAVOR. STAY AWAY FROM THESE IRANIAN ANIMALS OR YOU WILL LIVE TO REMEMBER THESE WORDS!
These people sued me nearly THREE (3) years AFTER I moveD out and had already moved on with my life. Because they were not able to find me they took a default Judgment against me for $12,300.
I only found out about the judgment because my credit was ruined when I went to buy a house. I had to spend nearly $10,000 to sue them back and to restore my credit.
DO YOU WANT THAT AGGRAVATION IN YOUR LIFE? THREE (3) YEARS LATER!!!
My lawyer took the Deposition of three other tenats that Carlyle did the exact same thing to…Carlyle waited more than two (2) years to sue these three other former tenants.
You need to contact the Fraud Division of the L.A.P.D.; they have done this nearly 36-times to other former tenants. This is a way for Carlyle to make more money. Do not be stupid enough to fall in their trap.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THESE PEOPLE ARE ON THEIR WAY TO PRISON!!!
Additionally, these Iranian crooks: Fred Shakib, Sam Shakib, Rebecca Shakib and Allen Shakib are highly anti-Semitic and they hate blacks with a passion not to mention Hispanics…Fred Shakib, Sam Shakib, Rebecca Shakib, Allen Shakib are terrible people they are more than scum bags.

Despite having had an impeccable rental history with our rented apartment Carlyle Apartments; Fred Shakib, Sam Shakib, Rebecca Shakib, Allen Shakib are refusing to return my security deposit of $1,650.00.
Despite having been told by Rebecca Shakib the owner that she intended to return the money, her alleged husband Fred Shakib felt compelled to tell me in February 2014 that he will not be returning the money and that in fact, he will reduce expenses for repairing the AC unit in that apartment which is a blatant lie. I provided Rebecca Shakib roughly two months’ notice of my intent to vacate so they could begin looking for a new tenant and I now I have spent several months after them asking them to please send me a check.
Three months later, I called Rebecca Shakib to ask for my deposit money only for her to tell me that Carlyle Apartments is taking me to Small Claims Court because now they claim I destroyed the AC and they want to get from me $4,200. This as it turns out is typical of Calyle Apartments to sue old tenants after the tenants moved out by making up stories and false changes.
I have had to hire an attorney and we have discovered that Carlyle Apartments has a history of filing Small claims cases sometime two and three years after the tenants moved out to get money and to destroy the person’s good credit.
If you rent from Carlyle you will be sorry. Before you do go to the Van Nuys courthouse and take a look at all of the bogus cases Carlyle has filed against tenants; you will be amazed; the list is endless. These people are ruthless, malicious and vindictive and should all go to prison.
