I have been looking for a personal loan to do some car repair and home improvements. I was contacted via email by US Capital Advance and offered a loan for $5,000. I only needed $2,500 and advised the representative. I was toldto call the finance office at (214) 613-7714 and speak w/Sebastian Cooper. All my information was reconfirmed and told that my loan was approved. As verification of my ability to repay this loan, I was told that I needed to purchase a Green Dot Money Pack and load $156.25 (which would have been the amount of my monthly payment). I purchased the card and advised Mr. Cooper who then said it would take approximately 90 minutes to transfer the funds After 90 minutes I received a call from what I thought was my bank and advised the deposit had not been accepted and returned.
I was also advised that it was returned because the funds were unsercured and had to be secured. The rep would not explain the difference to me and he was very difficult to understand. I called US Capital Advance and told by Mr. Cooper that I had to pay an additional $246.00 for taxes on the loan. At this point I called and spoke directly to my bank for an explanation - I was on the phone with them for 2 hours and no-one could provide me with any answers as they had nothing on file. Also the phone call that I received was not from the bank. This whole process was a rip-off....anyone please do not deal with this company. Unfortunately there are hundreds of them to be found on the Internet and so it seems that none can be trusted. These are evil people who prey on the desperate people in the world today.
