I took my Boston Terrier to Camp Bow Wow. She has been there before and didn't eat. So, I called to check on her about half way through a 10 day stay. I was told she was not eating. I expressed my concern and said I would pay more for someone to sit with her to eat. I did not receive a call back as promised ad unfortunately did not call to check. When I picked her up, she was covered in dry feces, as was her T-shirt that I left her, and her anus was red, inflamed, impated with feces and blood. They never mentioned it until I commented. I was then told that she also was having bowel problems for 2 days. I was never called. This could be a medical emergency and I was never informed. I am now not only concerned about my dog (picked her up 2 hours ago) but also the treatment of other dogs. Does anyone have information abut the qualifications of the sitters, there policy/procedures when a suspected medical issue arises, or actions of animal cruelty? I will not let this go. Something must be done to protect our pets...our family members. You can email me at I am specifically interested in any compaints against Trumbull Drive but policy/qualifications for all. Thanks.
