I went to Cameron Landing apartments spoke to a gentleman there whom I told about the foreclosure on my record, he informed me that my husband can do the lease and it would not be any problem. on March 9 we went into the office to sign paper work and I ask a few question pertaining to me calling the office if there was anything that needing repairs, I was told my husband would have to do so, but with permission, they would take the call. march 11, I called to ask can the light be in anyones name and thats when I started getting different information. I was told by one person i could not use the ammenities or accept packages there, also that she taught my husband was going to live there and I was going to live elsewhere. I inform the agent i dont care about using the ammenties, she said that was no problem then. I had spoken to the property manager earlier who told me she was going to make a phone call and call me back, she never did. later that day when I spoke to her she told me she did not call me back cause she did not want to hurt my feelings and that she taught I could read between the lines...we were schedule to move in 3/14/15, packed and made arrangements. paid rent and fees. We were told by the property manager that my husband can move in but I cannot and if they find out that I am living there, we will be serve an eviction notice.. all this information is 3 days prior to moving in. they told us we can get rent and deposit back but not the $160.00 paid for app and credit fee even though agent knew before hand the situation and was never honest with us. I have never lived in apartment so I ask the question and was upfront with them, I am now convince it is a money making scheme and you cant trust anyone.
