We have been moving from place to place before finding permanent residency, we thought we found a perfect place, but we were dead wrong. We arrived at the campgrounds on October 22nd and at first looked like a nice place, but the longer we were there, the worse we saw it really was. Their website advertised a lot of things to interest people to coming and staying with them, but we came to realize it was all lies. Their rules are really strict, you might as well be living on a military base. For 75 dollars, you could rent a grill (rusted and bent at that) that you would find in parks near the picnic tables or a firepit (also rusted and in bad shape). Their wifi for extended stay did not work, we were put in the very back of the camp where we were told was the only spot left available (it was not, there were many others). Their park for the children is in bad shape, i couldnt let my almost 2 year old in the baby swing because al they had for support in the back was a rusted chain with a broken plastic bar (lawsuit waiting to happen). You can only use their firewood for the firepits because it was state law, which is also a lie just to get you to spend more money. they go to a store, get the cheapest pantry food and non edible things and hike up thier prices like mad. Don't fish in thier pond, they have traps set there so that your lines get stuck in them, plus they dont trim the area to make it more accessable. THe showers were so outdated ad dirty, i could not give my son a proper bath in them for fear he would get sick or get staph or something else along those lines. Upon leaving, they park their truck in front of our trailer and told us cops would be involved if we did not pay the 50 dollars for the electric (the meter showed we used less than 2 dollars the whole stay, they just wanted more money out of us. We did not get our deposit back, they withheld that from us as well and changed their books so that we had to pay more money on an earlier date that we did not check in at. Their petting zoo was so sad and miserable, the animals rarely get fed, and when they do it is things that are not good for them, the sheeps hair was all matted, i could count the ribs on the goats, the pigs had something wrong with their skin that it cracked open and started bleeding and had puss. You also cant even go in and pet the animals, they have that closed off so that you cannot get into it to pet the animals. Please dont stay here, this place needs to be investigated because they are scamming innocent people of hard earned money. We paid what we had left to those greedy people who lied about everything to us and we had to scrounge up money to buy my son milk until my paycheck came the next day. Spread the word, we couldnt get help, but im trying to help you out
