I went there for new years eve, I ordered the taco's because it was all you can eat. They also had a 32 oz. margarita that I was told was half price, and usually $16 per drink.

Not only were the taco's not good i was charged double for my drinks and a friend I bought a drink for was thrown out of the bar because his seat came undone on the benches and he spilled his drink.

The greeters at the door was very nice but the manager was the rudest racist man i had ever met in Santa Monica.

He told me when I explained i bought my friend a drink, he said that he that they don't like people buying drinks for people they meet in the bar, "we don't appreciate people coming in our establishment begging for drinks from our customers." Which I thought was odd because he had already ordered a corona and was drinking it when I met.

In my opinion the only reason this manager treated myself, my wife and the friend I bought a drink for is because we were black.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Cabo Cantina has to be the WORST place I have ever worked for. I got fired because a girl from one of their sister bars(PBC), came in and touched my computer screen while I was working. The corporate office was apparently watching the computers cameras when she did so and suspended me for her actions. I was suspended for an entire week while she still got to work at Pacific Beach Cantina. During the week I was suspended, I smashed my phone and couldn't receive calls or texts. My manager finally emailed me and said that since I didn't answer his calls, they considered it "job abandonment" and I am not eligible for rehire. I was very confused as to HOW this would be considered job abandonment, considering I wasn't on the schedule in the first place! And not eligible for rehire?? I had only been working there for 4 months and never even been written up or gotten any warnings. The whole situation was extremely unfair. To top it off, I emailed my previous manager asking for a number to call where I could speak with someone from corporate directly and he gave me some excuse that they are all busy opening the new bar. I've now gone through their website twice in attempts to email a request to call me so I can get a better understanding of what happened, and no one will even respond to me. I will never again be stepping foot inside a Cantina. They are horribly unprofessional and disgustingly greedy. And on top of that, their drinks are watered down and their food is horrible. I do not recommend eating/drinking/or working for any of these locations!!
