Bulldog Ravine sold us a dog "Apollo" in 2005. Our beloved Bulldog was ill when we brought him home and were told it was a cold and he would be fine. He developed pneumonia and almost died. That was just the beginning. For his entire short life, he had one problem after another. Basically ALL the health issues Bulldogs get. Double Cherry eye, food allergies, skin issues, and finally- cancer. He lived to be 7, and 3 years later I still mourn him. We were told when we picked him off the website that he was bred by them. When we drove to get him, they pointed out the b***h they claimed he came from. When his papers came they showed he was imported from Russia. Our beloved Arlo (as we ended up naming him) was a Russian puppy mill dog, imported and passed off as a high quality dog. Please know- I wouldn't care who his parents were, I never wanted to breed/show him. But it is well known Russian import puppies are the worst kind of puppy mill puppies. Arlo was a product of severe bad breeding. These people are frauds and should be shut down. He suffered his whole life because of people like them. Please do your research when getting a puppy and use a well known, recommended breeder. Whatever you do, never go to these people.
