I own a busy restaraunt in dontown CLV. I have a large lunch rush during the hours of 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. On averae we can serve 200 lunches durring this short 1.5 hours and things are very hectic at this time. It is very important to be able to cash customers out as quickly as possible and let them be on their way back to work as this is their lunch hour, but when your not able to cash a customer out bc of your processing sytem is down again that sucks and when your not able to cash out 70 people well that becomes a huge problem. This happened many time and all of those times we would have to write down cc info and call it in to be processed. After several months of this I cancled my contract. It was actually almost the end of my contract, I would have owed them $ 1,200.00 if I had been cancleing for another reason, just to be cancelin I guess. But considering the fact that this co cost me a fortune in letting upset customers leave wo paying for their lunch bc the our processing was down and they couldnt be late returning to work, paying employees overtime to stay and call in all of the payments not to mention my own time spent on the phone with these people trying to trouble shoot. This went on for a long time before I cancled my contract with them and they had the nurve to try and sue me for almost $5,000.00. Now this was at the end of my contract and at this time $1,200.00 was the bal. of the contract. I can assure you that they cost me far more then $1,200.00.
A few weeks later a, man shows up at my restauraunt flashing a badge...aggressively approching my servers asking to see the cc processing machine, trying to push his way behind the counter and saying I know your using a different cc processer.
If you know anything about cc processing then you know that you use their equipment and they take their fees directly out.
We cancled service and opened another account so that they could no longer take money out. They acctualy sent some one to my place of buisness. We sent back their equipment 2 weeks before this, I owed them the bal. of the contract $1200.00.
WOW thats all I can say, they didnt get their 5k needless to say.
If you run a busy, fast pace company these are not the people that you want process your CC payments not to mention the fact that they were never able to find out why the system was down so often and then they had the nurve to send someone to my restaraunt.
