I received a phone thru budget mobile lifeline. The number issued to me is not what shows up on caller id. When you call the number back, someone else answers. I receive several calls and text that is being answered by someone else. I cannot access my voicemail, they said just because the number shows up as someone else's number and i receive calls and text, i can still use my phone, i just have to not give my number because it won't work. The number they gave me says it's no longer in use and deactivated. I have been without a phone 2 months, cannot schedule a doctor visit, cannot text anyone or call. I'm disabled need to visit doctor several times a month and for 2 months i have not been able to contact my doctors to have them cal me back with my scheduled visits for the month. So now what am i supposed to do? This company needs shut down. I demanded they stop my service, take me off the plan so i can apply elsewhere and they refuse to.
This company almost seems not to exist. After registering the sim card they still turned off my mothers lifeline phone including 911. They turned it off last Friday, they have banker hour customer support, or so they say. I have yet to get a person due to hi call volume. I have left my number on their automated call back system 6x and have yet to get a callback. When the phone was on %80 of the time people could not hear me. %50 she nor I couldn't hear her msgs, and finally %25 I couldn't access her voice mail
Supposly had a cell phone in my name through the governemnt lifeline program since 2012. A phone I didnt recieve or apply for. I go on 2/11/14 to apply at an agent and they inform me I have an active account. Funny, they called and told them to disconnect service because I didnt have a phone and told me I could come back in 60 days. I go back on 5/5/14 and then Im informed that it wasnt disconnected until 4/23/14, so I was told I have to wait another 60 days to aplly. Seems Im not the only one that budget mobile is charging the governement for a phone that isnt being used.
