I scheduled an appointment with Broadstar to have Internet put in my condo in the Villages of Bonita. I reconfirmed with them on the day of installation that they would still arrive between 1 pm and 5 pm and was assured the technician would be there. I had a family member who was on vacation spend the entire day at the condo and at 5pm I received a call that BroadStar had not shown up. I called the company and was told: there was no scheduled time, they tried to contact m at 2 pm and I didn't answer, I told her that was a lie (aren't cell phones great...they record all incing, outgoing and missed calls) and finally they would try to contact the tech (Chris) to find out where he was and would call me back...you guessed it NO phone call. I waiited 45 minutes and called back...by now I'll admit I was hot. The next series of excuses were: there was no scheduled appointment...yet they admitted someone called me at 9am. They said that there was no tech scheduled for our complex for that day. I told her the last person I spoke to told me they called me at 2 pm I asked her if that showed on her screen. Her response was, "I can't give out that info." Why not???? You just gave me all the other info. her response was to reschedule (notice the word reschedule) my appointment or file a complaint and a supervisor would contact within 48 hours. My advise, RUN don't walk from this company. Their customer service is terrible. If it's this bad before the service is installed I can imagine what it will be like if there is problem later.
Broadstar had an appointment to come out and install my T.V. and Internet on October 30, 2014. They told me between (:00 A.M. and 1 P.M.. At 1:30 P.M. when noone had showed up I called the company and was told the tech was running late and he would be ther within an hour. The rest of theday went by with nno show or call from Broadstar. Two days later when I finally reached someone they said to simply set it up again. I asked if they could either come before work, after work or weekends so I don't miss another day of work. They said no. I waited a couple of weeks and simply gave in. I scheduled another appointment for last Friday for between ( A.M. and 1 P.M. no one showed up, no calls and no answers at their office. I waited all day. This is a condo and Broadstar has throughout the buildings. The management company is no help either. I'll deal withtheir lck of interest later. Right now I need internet service so I cn work. I am writing this letter from a Starbucks on a Sunday evening.
