Brian Evans left Hawaii with unpaid bills of of about $300 to a local vendor who called me to report this and about $500 in unpaid utility costs he had promised to pay. He left truckloads of personal items scattered around the home, the kitchen like a frat house after a party, and mysterious substances sticking to the bathrom sinks and counters. As the homeowners we are out about $1200 including the cleanup and hauling costs. This is a person who does not know how to act like a mature adult and clean up after himself. We made him leave the rental early because it became aparent that he could not take care of the basic systems in the home, and this is the resulting tantrum that he threw when we were away from the island and not watching him.
