DO NOT EAT AT BRETTS BARBECUE,!!!! It is disgusting and so are the owners, Brett Nicholson and Bruce Wiseman! They are bullies and they lie to make their bullyiing sound true or like it has merit which it doesn't. Their food is terrible and they use questionable " meats" and say they are tri-tip, Brisket, or pork. They use cheap meat and sell it to their customers as something it is not! When someone tries to call them out for it, like an employee, they fire the employee. A customer? They ask the customer not to come back. you would not eat there if you knew what they put in their meat AND their barbecue sauce! so gross. Really! I am not kidding! both owners bully tthose weaker than them and they are overtly racist! They will not hire black or Asian people. They are backward rednecks who tell horribly rascist jokes with no remorse or concern. They are terrible caterers! They overcharge, arrive late, arrive too early, are rude, do not provide enough food, deliver cold food, put tons of BBQ sauce on everything to try to make it taste better. They Do not take responsibility for food poisoning. They lie and deny the salmonella quarantine at their Encinitas locarion. Their two locations have had multiple write ups and reports lately.
