So my eperiance with Brandy was not a good one. She was sent to me via a close friend of whome iI still work with. She was producing a shiw and needed a production company. However she never intended to pay us. I bide the job at 5500.00 for the full production. A huge deal for what she was getting. She then gave me a sob story of how she was taken advantage of and she could not let this event flop.
She then asked the person who informed me of the gig of my quote and had him ask for a discount. So we decided i would use his gear and i would just charge my hourly fee. Came out to about 400.00. Killer deal.
So day of the event we were ger to the venue that was having huge issues with the elivators. Only issue that was not caused by her. So we get the sound readdy and ask her for the music. She then blew up saying she did not know how to transfer music. So we had to go through her PC and find all the music. Then realizing she did not have all the music she stated to the parents we left the music behind. Next she insisted on sound checks for over 25 acts. Was never going to have the time for that. She also stated that was our fault. So we finaly get on with the shiw abd it was a bust. Horible timeline and planning. If it was not for the host and us it qould have been worse.
After the show she passed around a collection basket and asked for money from the croud. So after that we start teardown and she informed me she cant pay us and that was the last I have seen or hurd from her. She has not payed for any of our services and taken my miney with her.
If you ever hear her name run she will burn you and blame it on you.
