It is with great disappointment that we needed to write this but it is WELL DESERVED. After purchasing thousands of dollars of electrical products from BOZ ELECTRIC SUPPLY LTD IN RICHMONDHILL ONTARIO we are disamayed by there complete lack of basic customer care. Spending almost $7000 with them we were doing a renno on our home. First we had bought the wrong type of lights for our application. We courteously appoached them and told them we had not touched or opened or used any of the products.We returned them and were treated like total strangers, as they took apart each box inspecting it as if something was missing used or taken. We understand they need to recheck things. Not a problem. Than they had the audacity to charge us a restocking fee of 8%!!?? We said not a word but left very disappointed. We had purchased over 60 potlights and we had ONE extra so today we went back to return it not knowing what to expect on how they would react to returning ONE potlight.
I might ad that we had to return several time to BUY them as they were running out of stock so we thought, hey one potlight not opened brand new...whats the big deal right? WRONG...
Our credit card had been compromised so we only had debit or AMEX. They dont take amex so what did they do? You guessed it..nickeled and dimed us to death. The owner says we get charged 3% so we will put the money back on your debit. We said if thats the case why not just give us the cash were only talking about $40+ dollars here...no that was too much trouble so they ran it through are debit card to charge that $1.30 he so desperately needed. We were so angy but they could care less. This company does not deserve our business and prior to shopping in there another contractor told us.. "Oh ya there really good people as long as your buying something wait until you have problem or try to return it" Well we don't always beleive what were told but nothing could be closer to the truth. We'll pay more next time deal with someone else and someone that knows how to take care of customer let alone appreciate someone that came back to buy from this location many times. In 5 years we only ever returned 2 items. Both in the package unopened in perfect shape 100% re-saleable and in 100% of the time they did nothing but make us feel bad for returning something that we did not need. This is one of 100 posts to come, they deserve lots of press for such greedy service. What a terrible way to treat someone that wants to spend money in your store!!!! We hope if one person finds this online and does not come to your store, that will be good enough for us, but we know that many will see this online. So thanks for taking our 3-8% we thought its only fair we stick in our 2 cents. We wish you much success and please on behalf of the rest of the people you have pissed off. Have a nice day.
