This was routed to me via searching for Prima Games web site. When I accidently typed in the wrong password for Prima Games it routed me to the Box Support web site. I was trying to obtain an E-manual for the football game Madden 15 sponsored by Prima games.
When the internet connected to the site, I thought I was connected to Prima Games. It turns out I was on Box Supports web site without my knowledge. The party on the other end told me they could help me download the manual. but first they had to run a scan on my computer for errors.
I thought this did not seem right because another company had just done that. The party (and I have names) acted as though they were Prima Games and could help me. The scan came back with nine inconsequential errors and no malware was found. ( They didn't tell me that but I was able to see it on the screen).
Then they said I would have to pay $174.95 to be able to install the manual. I reluctantly said yes because I needed the manual. When they started the Rep. from Box Support said to wait 30 minuets and they would return to finish the install. Before they left they got my credit card Info. including CCV number, my complete name as it appears on the card, & my physical address.
Then they left at 6:00 PM my time, my computer stayed on untill 9:30 PM my time and 6:30 PM their time with no response in the text box. I turned off my computer at 9:45 my time(EST). The next Morning I called them to see what happened. They gave me the same old song and dance that they had missed seeing that my case was still opened.
Then they put a (Tech.) on and I say that loosely and he couldn"t figure it out so they put another Tech. on who did nothing other than the first Tech, did. The next day I called back and another Tech. came on my computer without my permission and screwed up my wireless network to the point that any device in my residense will not stay on the either my 2.4 GHZ or my 5 GHZ network.
Everytime I attempt to go online I have to go to device manager in control panel and reset the network to any frequency to be able to go online.
I told a fellow named Chad that after two full days and 1/2 night that my computer now had problems that it never had until they got into my registry including going into DOS and reconfiguring my computer and now i"ve got to take my computer to Best Buy to get it repaired. They screwed up my PC, my wifes PC, my WIFI thermostat, Two Iphone 6s, and two Ipad 2s.
I told this Chad fellow that I was disputing the creid card charge and he started getting irrate with me and telling me I can't dispute the charge and about how good of a BBB rating they have, (which is a joke in and of itself, I own a a legitimate electrictrical Co. as well as a real estate Co. (all licensined in GA) and I know what it takes to get a high BBB score).
This is a complete fraud Co. and the DA in Utah should shut this ripoff Co. down and fine them to no end. They are stealing peoples money at tube of $174.95 per person times all the people that gets on their web site which turnes into millions of dollars for Box Support and their co-horts.
Are you listening Mr. or Mrs. Distrist Attorney in Utah. Do something. Stop these people from ripping off hard working, tax paying people of yhis country. (Please). By the way Chad I just got my credit card statement on 4/11/2015. You bet I will not pay you the time of day much less any money even if I have to change credit card companies. Thank you for nothing but wasted time and problems.
Please forward this this to the Utah District Attorney for review. I"ll be glad to answer any questions and/or sit for a deposition.
Thank you for providing this platfortm to get the truth out about Box Support.
told me i had a network virus on my internet and that all my computers were infected so i paid over 200.00 for the repair. They charged me a monthly fee which i didnt agree too then they couldnt even fix my computer after three days. I took my computer to office depot and they said all that was wrong was i couldnt remember my password? Beware of this company.

Poor service! They had my computer twice and it was worse each time. The last call has gone unanswered and has not called back.
