I recommend consumers to avoid shipping consolidators Bongo US like the plague. Their negligent and incompetent packers have ruined over $1,000 (replacement value), rare, 'like new', goods but removing them from adequate packing and placing them inadequately packed and loose in a too big box.
To add insult to injury, their evasive and obsructive customers service is refusing to compensate the damage their packers caused because their own packers put in the wrong value for my goods.
Their own packers inserted the internal shipping costs of the goods, not their market value and now their managerment are refuse to compensation the 'fair market value', which is what the law and their policy says.
I purchased over 20kg of 'like new' metals parts which they then damaged by packing insufficiently, and they are now valuing it at ZERO, because their packers only inserted shipping cost. They are making me pay for their incompetence.

They admit their packers filling in the value of goods using merely the postal costs, and then refuse to compensate me because of it.
I paid for insurance and supplied evidence of actual costs ('fair market value') for like new take off parts, and still they refused to compensate.
In addition, any potential customers should be aware that BongoUS.com DO NOT fully compensation shipping costs as they advertise. It is a con as they break down you actual costs into "fuel surcharges", repacking, duties and taxes etc, none of which you will be compensated for.
Therefore, if they damage your goods due to their negligence and incompetence, YOU will still lose the costs of them collecting and repacking your item, for shipping fuel, for duties and taxes.
Beyond that, despite being a business aimed at non-Americans, they only refund via a US Dollar cheque and by mail. They will not refund to you credit card. Therefore you will lose high bank charges for a foreign currence cheque plus suffer the delay of them processing it and sending it.

I had 20 kg of heavy metal parts left lying on bubblewrap, not even taped up, which then burst because the weight was too much for it. Therefore my goods were sent without protection banging on top of each other damaging them. These were 'like new', 0 miles takeoffs BEFORE Bongo trashed them.
They even removed taping and adequate packing the sellers had done and place the items in a 1/3 empty box allowing them to bounce around and damage each others.
Dealing with BongoUS customer service is an insult on top of injury. They are only looking to protect themselves and exploiting the fact their customers are overseas.
