Blue Wave Computing along with their staff overcharged us for services during the life of our agreement. When Blue Wave came to us to acquire our business they represented that they were experts in their field and that they would provice us with the services we would need. When we entered into an agreement with Blue Wave they represented that the serivces they were providing us with is what we needed to host our sites along with our database with them. They told us our fixed pricing would be a little over $3,000.00 a month. Again we relied on their expertise and we as a company trusted them to be fair.
As time past our bills continued to increase in pricing with charges that were applied to serivces that needed to do ie updates and a slew of other things they would come up with each month. When we questioned them they promised to look into the charges. Bryan Gillette would always let us know they would look into this. The bills eventually went over $7,000.00 for one month, at that point after months of bills being in the $6,000.00 range and Blue Wave telling us this is what you need to run your websites we finally had to look into the billing that Blue Wave always insisted was fair, accuarate an in line with the services we needed.
After contacting Godaddy back in early 2014 and speaking to their support team and staff we were able to obtain all of the services we needed to run our websites and databses efficently for less that $1,000.00 per month. Again Bluewave was consistently charging us over $6,000.00 per month standing behind their experrtise and explaining this is what we needed whenever we questioned them.
Prior to making the switch earlier this year to Godaddy from Blue Wave we rewquested in writing via email an explaination for the most recent invocie that exceeded $7,000.00 we did not get a response till this day. Keep in mind when we signed up with Blue Wave they explained how we needed to pay over $3,000 per month. Our services now with Godaddy are not above $1,000.00 per month. This went on for years costing our company well over $180,000.00 in fees to Blue Wave Computing in Atlanta/Smyrna Georgia. We have since requested our overpayments back and have been somewhat successful yet Blue Wave continues to stand behind their excessive services that have been proven to be unneeded.
Be extremely aware of a clause in the Blue Wave contracts that limits the customer to 30 days to dispute an invoice or be stuck with the amount. We questioned Blue Wave verbally on many occassions and went to their office and they came to our office in Atlanta to go over the invoicing and they always explained to us we were being priovided what was required to run our online business. We have come o find out this was never the case. When we brought this to Blue Wave's attention they never offered an explanition for thes services we were billed for that we have come to find out we literally never needed them. The 30 day clause to dispute your invoices in their solely to protect Blue Wave in the event you do not question them within the 30 days to keep the money they overbilled you for.
If you are a customer of Blue Wave or thinking of being one please take this information very serious. One of the other key components is the service was far less efficent than Godaddy. Our sites have never been down once with Godaddy where with Blue Wave we have emails consistenly over the time we used their hosting where our sites were down for days.
