My husband and I purchased a Bluegreen Resort vacation package for Laurel Crest Resort Villa in Tennessee through Bass Pro store. When we arrived Nov. 5, 2013, we were put up at a local hotel.
To make a long story short....we went through everyone at the conference center plus 4 levels of employees at bluegreen vacation headquarters and all were like robots,,, "sorry you didn't stay at the resort but your confirmation letter states that you might be staying at a local hotel", well I didn't buy a "local hotel package", but after reading hundreds of compliants they do dot their i's and cross their t's.
All I wanted was compensation for the misrepresentation, either a full refund or a real resort vacation.
They can sell lies to us by later changing anything they want in a letter????? But if we didn't show up to the presentation we would be charged at least $100 additional dollars, I should of wrote a letter to tell them that I might not show up at the reserved time, would that have worked for me, I doubt it.
I still have my original purchased vacation papers, but since they sent me a confirmation letter and changed it, I can't do anything about it. I would of never purchased a hotel vacation, I wanted to experience a "5 star resort" like the sales presentation kept saying. So no we did not buy a "5 star resort vacation timeshare." I guess we are the lucky ones because we didn't get suckered into a timeshare and have all the headaches that I have read about, I truly count my blessings.
This is the worst company I have ever experienced, all other companies bend over backwards to make things right for their customers.
