My system works perfect ! Perhaps you should have not purchased a wind turbine if you do not have sense enough to NOT cross the positive and negative wires !
I purchased a 3k wind power generating system from Blue Sky Wind Power for $700.00 plus $50.00 shipping. When the package arrived the power system consisted of 3 vanes, a motor, a rectifier and a power grid tie inverter, all as advertised. The web site states this is a plug and play system, just put it on a pole and let the wind power do the rest. There were no instructions or specifications as to what kind of pole is needed but I had received an e-mail that directions would follow.
After about a week of waiting for instructions I wrote via e-mail to ask what the specs are and f I needed to know anything else. I received a reply that told what kind of pole I needed and that was the only information given.
I installed the generation system, plugged in the grid tie inverter only to find that in a strong wind I was not generaing any power. I wrote to Blue Sky letting them know I was getting no power and asking them what I should look for or do to test what the problem might be. I receivd no communcation back. After 9 e-mails (all unanswered), and seven direct phone calls (also unanswered), I hied an electrician to help me. He discovered that he Grid Tie Inverter weas not working at all. Blue Sky guarantees their products for a period of one year after purchase. Again, I tried to contact them to no avail.
Should have read other reports on this company before doing business with them.
He called 1 time and there were no emails. Everything is tested before it ships out. His call was answered ! If he didnt know how to hook it up (two wires) then he should of had an electrician installl it from the begining. Instead , he crossed the wires and fried the grid tie inverter. Common sense is a must if you are going to install your system , otherwise call a professional !!!!!!!!!!
