Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico has refused to deliver me health insurance coverage that my husband and I have paid for. We've paid them nearly $1200 for two months of medical coverage and every time my doctor calls them to pre-authorize a procedure they respond stating that I have not met my premiums. My premiums have bet met and I have documentation to prove as such. I've called the company numerous times and they say that it just takes a few days for it to "filter through their system" and be applied to my account and for coverage to be instated. This has never happened. Either I or my husband have called the company 4 total times regarding this issue, though I only remember the date for one specific call (today). The most recent time my husband's doctor's office called them and requested a prior authorization the person they spoke with informed them I wasn't in their system at all. It's been months without coverage and at the next open enrollment period we're taking our business elsewhere.
