Contractor deliberately failed to follow approved engineering specs to build a new 2nd floor addition.
Contractor deliberately failed to follow the approved licensed engineering specification & drawings utilized to secure the building permit to build a new 2nd floor addition.
Upon evaluation by the same engineer who approved the design it was determined that the structure was not built as designed and approved. Further, the work performed while disregarding the engineering specification "degraded" the entire structure of the home. The entire home had begun to sag and all of the walls and ceilings needed to be jacked into place and secured. In addition, the Sunroom, which was not part of the project, is no longer able to sustain any weight and will collapse without being reinforced.
