I made reservations to go on a deep sea fishing trip. I asked multiple times to verify that we would be going to the barrier islands and fishing for sharks. This was a trip for my sons birthday and all he wanted to do was try to catch a shark.
When we left on our trip our captain said we would get started with some light tackle, inshore fishing. I assumed since the captain said we were catching bait and I was paying $135 per person this was just a starting point then we would proceed to the islands momentarily.
We did no such thing, we stayed in the Biloxi bay and used only light tackle, we did not even get close to the end of deer island. When we returned to shore we asked why we didn't go out to the islands and were told there was a small craft advisory.
We stated our dissatisfaction with management and wanted to know why they were charging us $135 per person for the trip they advertise for $35 per person. The captain lied and said we took a vote in the morning before we left, this never happened. This was a trip for my sons birthday present and I would never have agreed to an inshore trip, let alone paying $135 per person for it. We made multiple attempts to rectify this situation but received no help and more lies.
This company claimed to have recorded our phone conversations and said we fully agreed to pay the deep sea price for an inshore trip. This conversation never happened and would not have happened.
