Bexar Towing towed my vehicle illegally (despite there being a valid parking permit displayed, and being legally parked in a valid spot). The first person I spoke with on the phone denied there was a sticker on the windshield (this was a lie). I called back, and was advised that they would not charge me for the tow due to the circumstances When I arrived, they said they'd been looking at the wrong vehicle, and that I WOULD have to pay the full $300 fee. Despite EVERYONE being able to see the parking permit from where we stood, they refused to give me my vehicle without paying, and said the apartment complex had called specifically to have my vehicle towed. After paying (I needed my vehicle back), I contacted my apartment complex, who advised they had NOT called about my vehicle, rather a different one, with a DIFFERENT license plate number. After two and a half hours there, several phone calls between my leasing office and Bexar Towing's management (and eventually their owner), and interacting with the rudest staff I have ever dealt with, I FINALLY received a refund. The company refused to take any responsibility for illegally towing my vehicle. I cannot fathom how this company is still in business, especially after my experience and reading about others' experiences online.
Our Truck was illegally towed! This company has some of the worse reviews ever. They operate in a very unethical way towing cars illegally. The truck drivers are rude and the whole company right down to the owner JOHN DELOACH. Truck was towed from business parking lot during business hours. While my husband and I decided to pick up some items from Garden Ridge we parked at about 9:10 pm in parking structured he walked a few yards to the food place next door to grab a taco my mom and I to garden ridge.
My husband called me and said our truck is gone, no explanation given expect to be rude and LIE by saying Garden ridge manager called them to tow the cars..this call never happened. Garden Ridge closes at 10:00 pm. Our truck was towed around 9:27 since I immediately looked at the time when my husband called and said truck is gone it was towed. The time on the paperwork from this FARCE of a business is 9:39 pm which is still during business hours.
If my husband would not have come outside to see commotion of a tow truck trying to take other cars we would have come out and NOT known what happened to our truck and would have filed it as stolen since NO VIOLATION had been committed that would have been out only thought! The companies own employees bad mouth the owner JOHN DELOACH calling him names and saying and I quote "your car should have never been towed, it was during business hours and the tow truck drivers jumped the gun, you need to call back and try to get a refund".

This leads me to believe what the SAPD officer who I called to the scene was correct when he said "these unscrupulous tow truck driver sit and wait and when you walk away they illegally tow your cars"..... I have no problem if I was in the wrong but this is not only unfair, unethical but illegal!!! I will be filing complaints with BBB and fighting for a full refund. They have NOT heard the last of me!! Bythe way you can only pay by cash or debit to get your car out! This is so they will immediately have the $$$!
