Bestbuyerdiscount.com is a scam outfit that, unknown to the purchaser, automatically signs the customer up for a monthly fee for supposed discounts on products. I purchasee a bottle of cologne and gave them my credit card. That was the mistake. Since that time, five years ago, they have screwed me out of $9.95 every month. For NOTHING. Never received another email from them with offers or anything else. I called their phone number and cancelled "membership" and asked what I was paying for all those many months. They said savings on products. Bottom line, I never joined their organization, never authorized them to charge me money forever, and I want a refund of at least $600. On the phone the spokesperson, a heavily accented female, said I had had seven days to cancel after signing and since I didn't, they began charging me. This, of course, was all news to me. That credit card was one I seldom use and did not monitor as closely as my other. That's my fault but doesn't change the illegal nature of that company's scam tactics. I plan to also contact the FTC to see if they have a history of this company's dealings and if there is leverage there for me to get reimbursed. Meantime stay the hell away from bestbuyerdiscount, they are deceivers and parasites.
