The delivery was scheduled and they did turn up on the agreed day.
When we looked at the carton that evening is became clear that this item had been opened before. The original tape had been ripped off and it was replaced with some wrinkled clear tape.
When we opened the package the styro-foam packaging material was broken, and some of the hard foam packaging material had been stuffed down the front of the unit so pressure would be applied to the LCD screen. The whole cover on the unit itself was ripped.
Called BestBuy to have the unit picked up and replaced.
That call took 45 minutes to complete. The new delivery was scheduled 6 days later.
Today I did not receive a call from the shipping/trucking company.
So I called BestBuy after more than a hour on hold with three different agents, they come back to me stating the delivery had been delayed and …to bad no one called me to let me know.
So now it is rescheduled again supposedly the end of the week.
Pretty bad service for trying to push off an open box as new.
My surface RT started to act up making noise, I had got the best warrantee they have and was thire customer for many years, went to take care of the problem, in the store met with one of their reps (this was the scond time i went after they replased my orignal with a recondition one) he took my surface,rt in came back and told me there was nothig wrone with it so i stated that but it dose not do it all the time and since i had the best of warrantee i wanted it replaced ( what do i have to do take a video of it roudlly he siad yes ) I blwo my top since now i was a lier in his eyes fast a woman came out and asked me to leave. i was so insullted. many employees surrounded me it was very upsitting so i was not nice after that ,left and told them i will contact the main office and nothing came of it.
Yes I'm sure everyone knows that Best Buy has an online purchasing center. And in this purchasing center they have third-party people that sell their wares electronics and such. I recently ordered three computers laptops from one of these third-party people they refused to answer the phone return the messages or make refunds. When I called Best Buy to see if they would give me some assistance for one of these third-party people that they rent space to, they told me there was nothing they can do it wasn't them it's the other guy that we rent space. I ask if they rent space to people that they know are ripping people off and they don't do anything about it, they simply said it's not our product it's the other guyand nothing we can do. Do not order anything from these third-party people because Best Buy will not help you and the third-party people won't return your calls, answer the phone or give you a refund. Or communicate with you in anyway for that matter.
