I have been disputing these charges since 2/1315. Here is what I wrote to my credit card company:
Attached please find 7 Exhibits related to charges on 2/10/15 for $88.49 (referred hereafter as WRINKLE) and 2/12/15 for $79.95 (hereafter referred to as OXY). Please refer to Exhibit 1. Both cosmetic products were ordered from a company that goes by the name Beauty & Truth.
Please refer to Exhibits 2-4 for OXY, which was ordered on 1/24/15, shipped on 1/27/15, received 2/2/15 and canceled via phone on 2/13/15 (cancel #333-211715). There were 3 days expended due to shipping; 6 days expended due to delivery; and, 11 days for use prior to cancellation.
Please refer to Exhibits 5-7 for WRINKLE, which was ordered 1/24/15, shipped on 1/27/15, received on 1/30/15 and canceled via phone on 2/13/15 (cancel #150-211691. There were 3 days expended due to shipping; 3 days expended due to delivery; and, 14 days for use prior to cancelation. HOWEVER, the directions for OXY stated that it had to be used in combination with WRINKLE. Thus, I did not begin using OXY until WRINKLE was delivered on 2/2/15.
NOTE: the cancel process was automated via phone at 866-710-5109. I was issued 2 cancel #s via a machine, not a human. There was no information provided by the machine cancelation regarding returning the product. I would be happy to return these lousy products, but I have never been provided with information regarding a return address.
This company advertised their skin care products on Facebook. They promised great results along with a 2 week free trial period. I ordered the product on 1/31/15. I had to supply my credit card number in order to pay for shipping costs. The product arrived on 2/10/15. I used it for nine days and saw no results. I canceled future orders on 2/19/15. The charges appeared on my credit card same day. The charges were outrageous and were not disclosed in the free trial. the charges appeared on the statement under two different names. I called the company to dispute the charges and the representative initially denied it was their company. Later in the conversation, the representative tells me the charges were for the product and I didn't cancel within 2 weeks. She also told me that the trial period started on the day I ordered the product. When I asked to speak with her manager, the call was disconnected.The credit card company alerted me that the transaction was an international transaction. It took 11 days from the order for the product to arrive. I used the product for 9 days and saw no results. I called to cancel. on 2/15/15 the charges were made to my account under 2 different company names so it is hard to identify what the charges are for. I feel that this sompany advertises results that are not there and the "free trial" period is a scam. I disputed the charges with my credit card company.
