This compay offers a "free trial" of their facial cream with the intent of charging you if you attempt to cancel the trial, which is not as advertised. Moreover, use of this trial resulted in hospitalization after a massive allergic reaction due to improper warnings included with the product per FDA and FTC regulations. The matter has been brought to the attention of the DA and DoJ. Moreover, a potential civil lawsuit is being prepared to file against this company for multiple violations of federal and safety laws, attempts to extort customers who wish to cancel their trial under any circumstances. They offered to charge $30 to cancel the trial to avoid sending the matter to collections. If anyone has been harmed by this company or their products, please do not be afraid at contacting them to let them know of your injuries and your intent to join a possible class action lawsuit. Good Luck and for God's sakes, stay away from this company!
I purchased the BeauteMD Aging Solution Moisturizer for $2.95 free trial. I immediately felt a tingling around my cheek bones and then a slight burning sensation in that same area. I called immediately to ask if this was supposed to happen. Weather it did or not, I was not going to continue to use a product that burned my face even a little. So I tried to cancel and they gave me a really hard time. They stated that the trial creme they sent was not really a trial size but that it was the full size product.
Then they said, I would have to pay them $10 to keep the product because they always send the full size not a trial size. I told them I'd already paid the $2.95 for the trial size and I never asked them to send a full size. I reminded them that their site stated I could cancel after receiving it.
So they ask that I either send the unused portion back at my own cost or pay $10 to keep it and that is the only way they would cancel my subscription.
I thought it would probably cost me that much to send it back so I paid the $10 to avoid further charges on my credit card. Turns out that the product actually made my skin feel tighter but the wrinkles remained. So I continued to use the product and put up with the tingling and burning sensation until the entire jar was used. I did this hoping that my wrinkles around my eyes would somehow slowly dissapear or diminish. LOL...
I like the fragrance and the fact that the skin felt a little better and I felt a slight tightness on my face. However, if you are looking to get rid of the wrinkles, BEWARE... your wrinkles will not go away. By the way, the product does not come with any instructions and it comes in a tiny jar so it does not last the whole of 30 days. Mine lasted for 2 1/2 weeks using it every day.
My problem with this company is not so much the product because it did make the skin on my face feel tighter and I did like the fragrance. My problem was the false advertising about how it diminishes your wrinkles and also if you did not like the product, you would be able to cance and they would not charge your credit card. Do not be fooled by their promises, They will not allow you to cancel at all unless you threaten with filing a complaint to the ATTORNEY GENERAL, and let them know you will follow thru with a BBB report as well as a DUN AND BRADSTREET complaint.
