I first became aware of this company (Bare International) after registering as a mystery shopper with them. The company calls all of their shoppers "Evaluators" and it seems most of the work has to do with shipping packages and evaluating the services offered by the USPS. To make a long story short, I completed 4 shops for them on 12-03-13, 12-11-13 and two were completed on 12-10-13. I was told by the Project Manager that handles Arkansas (Linda Pegram) that I would be paid on 01-15-14 for these shops but as of this date (01-23-14) I have not been paid. I contacted the person that handles all payouts to their evaluators and she sent me an email stating a check was mailed to on 01-17-14, which I don't understand because I signed up for direct deposit and now they are sending me a paper check. It doesn't take this long for a letter to travel from Virginia to Arkansas. In addition to filing this report, I am contacting the BBB and my States attorney General office. There has to be something that can be done about this.
I joined Bare International around 2 years ago. I did some shops for them whenever I got time. I did my first shop in south korea. They asked me to do a mystery shop of Nespresso in a mall in south korea.
It snowed heavily on that day in korea ands the place was too far from my home. It was so dark that time. Despite of these unfavourable conditions. I went there and performed the shop. It took around more than 30 mins to finish report of one shop. I clicked the picture of the store and also the nesspresso products there.
But, inspite of all this they rejected my report by giving some resaons. I point is whatsoever is the reason, atleast I went tehre , did your job and if you think I didn't do it correctly, then atleast pay for my transportation which aws around 30 dollars.
Second, it happened when I did a shop in USA to dine in TGI Friday. Place aws around 25 miles from my home. I went tehre after my office hours around 7 pm and came back home around 11:30 pm. The server there diidn't asked to show the id when I ordered beer which is the thing which I need to observe there and report it to the bare international. I got the letter signed from the restaurant manager that she didn't card me and scanned it and send it to bare international. Then, I got a email from the bare international that you are lying.
server there said that she carded me. That was ridiculous and they made false comments on me that i was ordering something which i am not supposed to order. Thats so bad. I don't like it at all.
I spend around 40 dollars there and the transportation cost around 35 dollars to go there.
But, I never got back this money. I need justice nad want to get my money back from bare international.
They pay so less for the assignment and the time of people. They just want them to work for free whcih is not at all justified. They earn a lot much profit from their clients but pay so less and unfair. They just need some reason to reject report.
