Simply put, AutomondeConsignment.com was setup for one purpose and one purpose only and that is to deceive would-be car buyers into wiring money for vehicles that they don't even actually have for sale. The ENTIRE site is a scam. They have gone so far as to manipulate the google search results with a series of fake websites that duplicate other sites.
(Notice, you're not really on Dealerrater.com like the logo suggests, you're on their own website "mindafinance.com" - a fake site setup to deceive you.
Then you might continue to search for them on google and you find this:
(Notice again, you're not on Hoovers or D&B as the logo suggests. You're on suncolorants.com - another fake site setup to deceive you)
Then you continue to look... you're pretty sure they are legit now because you've seen D&B endorse them and dealerrater says they are cool but you look anyway. Oh, cool.... reviews from REAL people who have used them on a forum....
Not really... again, Google has let you down because you're not on "The Hull Truth boating forum". You're on a pirated page on yet another one of their domains (teaxlive.com) that again was setup to deceive you).
This whole thing was just setup at the beginning of the month. Very elaborate and very deceiving. And the main AutoMondeConsignment.com site is very convincing. Take a look around and see how far they go to deceive you. Also, explore the other links on google and take note of how fake they are and how in every case the page is setup to look like an official site, but you're ALWAYS on the wrong URL.
I was looking at RV's for sale on Craigslist. I replied to this one via the email link on their site:
http://sanantonio.craigslist.org/rvs/5085205436.html - on June 27. On July 6 I received an email back from this craigslist email address: [email protected] - stating they had been emailing me but it wasn't going through and to send them my actual email address. Which I did.
They then replied back from [email protected] - stating that I go to the AutoMonde website to see more images & purchase the RV through their site. (via this link: https://www.automondeconsignment.com/Inventory_7/rv/23572.html - an RV listed for $9750.00 that should be listed for about $35,000.00)
I did some research online to look into the company and came up with it's domain name just having been registered on 7/3/15 (though their site shows they've been in business since 2008). It's registered in China. The review sites are all fake. The phone number goes to a fast busy & their contact us form won't work.
I was not scammed, but I believe they are actively pursuing people to scam out of thousand's of dollars.
Beware! AutoMonde Consignment & Sales is a FAKE SITE!!!
