I purchased a extended warranty from Aul at the time of sale of a 2007 chevy duramax, the warranty was for 18 months 18,000 miles, I have 6 months and 6,171 miles left on my warranty. Two weeks ago I took the truck to a qualified repair shop, spent about a grand on ujoints and other services because I had a shutter at take off, that repair did not resolve the shutter issue, I called aul and confirmed that the tourque converter and transfer case would be covered because they were internal items and all internal parts that touch oil would be covered. I took the truck back to the auto shop to have them look into the transfer case and possibly the tourque converter, they found that the rear output bearing/seal had wear on it,they replaced it, but when the auto shop called aul and explained what they found and that the yoke had wear marks on it also, aul declined my claim because they said that the auto shop expanded it wrong to them.
so that day I called aul and asked them why they told me that all parts that touch oil are covered Arn't covered...they told me the same thing, the auto shop explained it wrong....but then she said to have the auto shop call back and explain It the right way...I laughed and said..and what way is that? I realized at that point I was dealing with f'en crooks....I called the auto shop back and told him what they said......he really laughed....and says. Ok. What is it that they want to hear? Bottom line her folks.....save your 900.00 bucks. Because there not going to help you out......f***** crooks is all I got to say about that.
I purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS December 20, 2014. the purchase came with a 3 month 3,000 miles warranty. I n two months. I've only put 1500 miles on the vehicle. I now has a rod knock. I'm well within the warranty period. After the shop owner contacted Aul and submitted an estimate for the repair. The shop owner was told that Aul would only pay $1500.00 towards the repair. The repair will cost almost 10,000.
