A SMALL WORLD Cbarged me £89 without notice of renewal, I had not used the service in previous year and not even remembered my logon details, on the day of the new charge when I saw it debited from my account I emailed them straight away to inform them I did not want the renewal for another year and to refund me what they auto debited.
they refused to refund saying auto renewal is in the terms and conditions !
so even though they can see I did not use it fir a year and i contacted them on the 1st day of renewal they still refused.
they also even though I left my number for a manager to call me no one called !
Agree with the poster above. Same thing happened to me with Asmallworld - They don't inform you of an automatic renewal ahead of time but then take the annual payment and when you challenge it, they tell you why didn't you read the small print. I am very angry about this right now. They send daily updates about people writing in forums and groups that have nothing to do with you but when it comes to money, they don't send any updates - they just take it without telling you. They don't even send you a receipt! This company seriously needs to be investigated.
Asmallworld.com charged recurring fees for membership without notification. I dont use teh site for over 6 months and did not plan to renew membership. When contacted support via email, I was told it was their policy to charge recurring fees. I asked for a refund and was refused.
I was not happy with their service, thus teh reason I stopped using
asmallworld.net and I am not satisfied with the customer service I receieved when I contacted them.
