Frank Braun has now associated with Aries Construction as an "Estimator". Be advised that Frank Braun Construction was operating under a revoked Contractors License for violating state law and this may be his way of getting around the license revocation. Even after losing his license, Mr. Braun continued to take on new jobs, many of them with considerable problems. The scheme worked like this. By means unknown, Mr. Braun would locate individuals in need of construction repairs covered by their homeowners insurance. Once located, Mr. Braun would bring in an independent insurance adjuster to "work" the claim for 30% of the repair cost. Braun would assure the homeowner there would be substantial financial benefit to them to use him for the repairs and the Public Adjuster to negotiate the insurance settlement They would create an estimate allowing for many extras far exceeding what would actually be covered by insurance. Once the insurance company examined the scope of the inflated work and determined a true repair cost estimate, the work would have been already started, leaving the homeowner "holding the bag and with a torn up home".
When the California State Contractors License Board concluded that Frank Braun Construction was contracting illegally they pursued an active investigation. At this point Braun Associated with Aries Construction, so this MAY be an extension Mr. Braun's previous scheme. BEWARE and check the California State Contractors License Board website.
