Bad Cock Furniture is a retail outlet throughouut the SouthEast that deals mainly in furniture and appliances. They also sell long term service contracts which aren'tt worth the paper they are written on. We have spent thousands of dollars with this company and our accounts are all now paid in full but wil never shop with them EVER again.
1. 60" TV blew up (actually had smoke coming out from it). It took a month before the company would replace the device..They actually sent a repai technician out to repair it and he ordered a part which he returned and tried to repair the TV with (obviously trying to beef up his hourly rate), of course the TV was beyond repair and was replaced.
2. We are no into the third month of trying to get a washer repaired/replaced. Had we bought this from a big box company we probably would have had better service but we stayed with this locally owned franchise as they are local and we try to "support the local economy" which is a nice idea in theory but renforces the old addage "Nice guys finish last".
Bottom line, Badcock and their repair contracts are to be avoided at all costs which is what at 24-29% interest, their merchandice will end up costing.
