On August 15, 2014, a serviceman from Appliance Care Experts came to my home and replaced some parts on my dryer, charged me $125, and left a 90 day warranty. My son was at home, but was not asked to witness the dryer working after the repair. When I returned home from a meeting, I washed a load of clothes and put them in the dryer. The dryer never heated up. It was blowing cool air as it had been before the "repair."
I called the company and spoke with the serviceman and he said that when he left, the dryer was working. He also said he would come by and check it to see why it was no longer working, because it was still under warranty. I waited Monday and Tuesday for him to come and when he didn't, I left a message. I called again at the end of the week, thinking they might be really busy, but still no response. The following week, I called twice more at both numbers (520.609.7411), but still no response.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Tucson and got a response today that the company did not answer any inquiries made by the BBB. Again, they didn't answer any phone calls. I decided to contact Rip Off so that other people can be warned about this company and the way they do business.
My dryer is not working and they still have not honored their warranty. I want someone to come look at my dryer, tell me what is wrong with it and fix it. If it cannot be fixed, I want a refund of my $125. I want them to have the courtesy to respond as they should have in the first place, before they started ignoring me. I have used this company before and am really dissapointed in the way they are handling this situation.
