I booked a trip through cheapcarribean.com including the enhanced travel insurance plan whcih allows for the cancel for any reason, in which i actually thought they would allow me to cancel for any reason.
After the claim was made and looked over, out of about $600, the insurance agency felt i basically only deserved the amount i paid for the insurance, a little over $100.
I will never ever do business with either company again and i plan to report them to whomever i am able to report them to!
MY OPINION IS....They informed me that I'd have to sign up for a new health insurance for 2015 thru them with a different health care provider but I could go back to my existing health care provider of AARP Medicare Complete for 2016! If I didn't accept their choices ( in my case it wasn't even clear if I had one possible provider because of my Zip Code) that I'd lose out for my pension benefit of $2700 per year for supplemental insurance and by accepting a new provider it also increase my monthly premiums by approximately $60 per month! The only reason, I can come up with is they must receive a commission for any sign-up! Seems like this should be considered illegal and I plan to file with the Labor Board!
