Like other offices, we received a fake bill from American Super Pages for $497.89 which no one in the office authorized for a Bold listing in some publication. they threaten to send it to collections if not paid. I will probably give to our police department.
another yellow pages listing service scammed me and I swore I'd never reply to the various yellow pages solicitations. they are claiming I requested a service in 12/16/2015. I was pretty busy working last month and I don't recall making this request. I'm pretty sure I didn't ask them to invoice me either. I called their # 1-888-418-1227 and there was no one to answer so I left a VM. their fax number listed is 1-888-812-7003. maybe I need to send a fax also saying I didn't sign up for this service and I don't want it and I won't pay for it and if there's any problems, i'll report to BBB and my State AG's office.
American Super Pages 3268 governor Dr #120 San Diego CA 92122 is where the invoice came from. also, they didn't even get my address correctly as they don't even list my correct suite number for my business.AS
I received a phony INVOICE#24-1615029-87 on 12/29/2014 from American Super Pages for a BOLD web profile phone listing for $488.81 DUE on 1/18/2015. Like the previous complaint filer, I never ordered any listing, and I am a sole proprietorship, no one else is in the office, and no one placed the order. In fact, I never heard of this company. It appears to be an attempt to make us think someone here ordered this and get us to just sent them our money.
I also attempted to call their office at 855.260.1660, and it immediately goes to intercept, "attempting to transfer" me to "customer service" and loud music. But no one picks up.
I will probably deliver this to the US Postal Service Office and file a complaint asking for an investigation into US Mail Fraud. I also noticed that the Better Business Bureau has multiple reports on this business.
