Mr Grubbs:
Per our conversation, on September 22, 2014, at about 11:29am, in regards to my renters insurance claim covering my Mac Book Pro Laptop Computer which was vandalized and damaged, you stated that the information given by me, according to you, partially fell into the THEFT category and therefore you are classifying my claim is for "THEFT" even though my computer was not stolen but only damaged and vandalized as stated in the Las Vegas police report. I do need your confirmation regarding our telephonic conversation that I understood you correctly in labeling my claims as a "THEFT".
In addition, having conducted some basic research and become aware of noticeable "red flags" here regarding my claim in its entirety and before signing the THEFT form you sent me via email, I humbly request that you also send me a form related only to "VANDALISM and MALICIOUS MISCHIEF". PLEASE inform me, if your company does not have such a form related to VANDALISM insurance claims. I, say that by filling out the claim form for VANDALISM, I will feel more comfortable in knowing that I attempted to inform AMERICAN MODERN INSURANCE COMPANY that my computer was not stolen but damaged and vandalized during a break-in at my Las Vegas, NV hotel room.
However, Mr. Grubbs due to your unwillingness to label my claim as VANDALISM but instead you Mr. Grubbs labeling it as a THEFT, I do not want to later have to deal with a criminal prosecution for fraud of having filed a false claim of theft of personal property under California law that may result in me going to prison. So, therefore, for personal and legal reasons, I do humbly request your confirmation with you having labeled my claim as “THEFT” instead of “VANDALISM” by which you sent me documents relating to a claim of "theft only" and not vandalism. I would appreciate your timely response to this here email Mr Grubbs, so we can expedite my claim for payment. Thank you!
