I prepaid and booked a Living Social appointment a month ago for vent and dryer cleaning. The technician, Mike, came, tried to upsell me by $625 and when I said no, he literally packed up his things and left. He didn't clean a SINGLE vent, never even looked at the dryer, literally nothing. He threw a tantrum about my not wanting to him to clean the furnace (for the extra $625) and left. When I called his company to let them know how their technician had acted, their response was that if I wasn't happy with the service, I should calling Living Social and get my money back.
You can't blame a company for the actions of their employees, but when you point out the inappropriate ways an employee acts, a company should handle it well. Instead, all they could tell me was that the technician said he cleaned the place and if I didn't like it, to get my money back. I highly recommend people to NOT use them.
