To Whom This May Concern: I am writing to you in regards to the health travelers insurance "American Assist Travel Service". We at Medrite Urgent Care have examined multiple patients covered under this plan over the past few years. We submitted plenty of claims to the insurance company but failed to receive any reimbursment or at least some sort of a response. Countless attempts in effort to obtain payment were made but to no avail. This includes several phone calls with fervent promises from American Assist to pay our claims immediately, a couple of emails all marked as high importance - with absolutely no response (while I did receive read receipts for each of them!) etc... The talk here is about claims that were submitted on behalf of of American assist patients, who I understand pay their premiums in order to benefit from coverage and have their insurance pay for visits to their Dr's. It would therefore be distressing for us to be forced to bill patients to pay out of pocket when their insurance company should be the responsible party. The providers at our facility spent time with these patients; which is obviously an expense for our company, thus it is only logical that we expect payment in full for the services rendered in good faith.
At this point we are absolutely fed up of chasing a negligent company for money that is fully due to us. We shall hope your agency can be of assistance in resolving this matter.
Much Appreciated, FJ for the office of Medrite Urgent Care
